Hello, All,
With our UCSB cohort of Jacob Javits fellows, we're finding a difficulty
about their level of allowable stipend this
year. As you know, Jacob Javits is following NSF's example and allowing up
to $30K stipend for 12 months if
the fellow has sufficient need.
Is any campus finding that they can provide the full $30K living stipend to
their current Javits fellows?
In other words, are your financial aid offices computing a 12-month need
figure allowing a $30K stipend for the fellows?
Thanks,
Jenny Bisheff, UCSB
