Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is having a great new year thus far! Mine has been
very busy but not a bad start to the new year. I would like to first
of all announce that Barbara Mount from UC Berkeley has graciously
agreed to serve as Vice Chair for the 2004/2005 year. So glad to
have you on board Barbara!
To update you on the status of this years meeting, I have sent emails
to Walter Jackson, Fulbright IIE, and Karla Ver Bryck Block, DDRA,
inviting them to our annual meeting tentatively set for early June.
I have already heard back from Walter Jackson who is very interested
in attending and early June is good for him. I have not yet heard
from Karla Ver Bryck Block, but I hope to soon.
I would like to pin down a date for this years meeting as soon as
possible. Since early June is good for one speaker already, please
check your calendars and send me your available dates for the first
week in June.
UC GFAC Listserv Reminder
The UC GRAD FAC listserv is available to you to share and/or gather
information with/ from colleagues who have similar roles at each UC
campus. To utilize the listserv, simply address your email to
ucgradfact@ucdavis.edu. If you have know other colleagues who are
interested in subscribing, please let Deborah McCook know and she
will be happy to add new members to the list. Deborah's email is
dlmccook@ucdavis.edu.
Also, I have attached last years membership list. Please review your
information and send any changes or new member information to Barbara
Mount brmount@berkeley.edu with the name, title, address, phone, fax,
and e-mail.
Please let me know your availability as soon as possible so we can
set a date for the 2005 meeting.
