    MTC has an open position for a Section Manager in our Programming & Allocations Section.   This position will oversee the development of policies with a budget of over $1 billion dollars per year.

    SECTION MANAGER


    for Programming & Allocations Section

    Salary:  DOQ, up to $154,893/yr.  Fully paid health benefits, dental, vision, PERS retirement, life, & disability.  Up to 38 days paid leave, in 1st yr of service.
     
    The person in this position will report directly to the Deputy Director-Policy, this is a senior level management position responsible for overseeing the development of policies with respect to the programming and allocation budget of over $1.0 billion per year federal, state and regional transportation funds.  Develops specific financial strategies, policies and packages for regional plans and programs. Manages the transit capital priorities process and prepares the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).  Oversees administration of Regional Measure 2 capital and operating program.  Manages a staff of 16 full time employees.
