We are in the market for some laser rangefinders to help with GPS offsetting
and stem mapping, and I was hoping to get some feedback on good (and
affordable) rangefinders. Here's the specs we would like:
Rangefinding good to at least 1.5 km, and at least 1m accuracy
Built in electronic bearing and clinometer (CRITICAL!)
Preferably in the form of a pair of binoculars, but the other types are ok
Thoughts? We have a pair of Leica Vectors, but it turns out these things
are like $7k or so, so we were hoping other companies make comparable
rangefinders that are less pricey. Thanks for any feedback you can give me!
