water in images

I am working on a project in entomology trying to detect insects in cotton
fields using remote sensing. I have worked very hard getting images for
this year and have some Quickbird imagery of my fields. The problem that I
had, that I have never run into before, is that my fields are uniformly wet
from being irrigated. Also, there is no calibration on my images. I am
using ENVI to visualize and work with these images. Is there anyone who
could help or direct me to someone, that could help me? I know that there
are algorithms that can help take the water out, but I have no experience
doing this. Thank you,
