Hyperthreading and ENVI

I was wondering if anyone has performed any tests with the performance of
ENVI on hyperthreaded systems (newer intel processors have this capability)?
I've noticed certain processes seem to only use 50% of the hyperthreaded
processor which makes me think that I'm getting a performance hit with
non-SMP processes in ENVI. Thoughts?
