Hi all, it was a network issue -- the output file was 77gb (!) and our
windows network / gb switch simply choked on a file of this size. Working
on the file locally solved the problem. We have been working with fairly
large files in the past across the network with no hiccups, but alas, this
one seemed to kill our work! Problem (sort-of) solved...
