I've been informed that the contractor will finally [remains to be seen]
install new windows AND frames in our offices tomorrow starting at 6
a.m.--if it doesn't RAIN. Supposedly it only takes one day to finish the
job.
It will be extremely dusty and uninhabitable while the contractors are
working. By 4 pm today I will be turning off the SeafoodNIC server
(http://seafood.ucdavis.edu) and relocating the equipment away from the
window and into temporary storage. We will send an announcement when the
server is back on line. (It may be a couple of days before the server is
back up; depending on the weather and contractor's "new" schedule.) Sorry
for the inconvenience.
