Incidently, I sent the draft of the reply before it was ready. I apologize.
But anyway, I have not been successful in tracking down any EU
microbiological standards for fresh/frozen finfish product in the European
law. I presume therefore (apart from my bad luck or indolence) there may be
none and it may be applicable by analogy to follow the standards of similar
products such as purified molluscs for direct human consumption unless the
individual state members regulations are still in force there.
