Dear Listers,

Would you have any positive or negative evidence of utilizing fish silage in
feed formulation for tilapia in terms of its nutritional value, tilapia
growth rate and side effects over non-silege based feeds? I mean two type of
silage such as mineral acids/formic acid based versus a fermented one made
while utilizing carbohydes and lactic bacteria cultures in preparation.
Would be tilapia affected by thiaminase frequently present in wet feed of
aquatic origin the way farmed salmon is allegedly affected? I would
appreciate your comments and possible references.
