Histamine screening in US and Europe

    A short question. I´d like to know how is the screening process for histamine levels in fish in US and EUrope; and which institutions are in-charge to do that process? Are quality control or inspections of histamine levels in markets conducted periodically? or Are they usually do it only for imported products? Thanks for your answers.
