Codex Committee on Fish and Fishery Products (CCFFP) - The US Codex
Office has set a public meeting for January 23, 2008 in College Park,
Maryland for a review of the agenda and of US positions to be taken
during the next meeting of the CCFFP which is set for February 18
through 23 in Trondheim, Norway - The Norway meeting includes the
following items: Draft Code of Practice for Live and Raw Bivalve
Molluscs, Lobsters and Crabs and relevant Definitions; Draft Standards
for Live and Raw Bivalve Molluscs, Smoked Fish, Sturgeon Caviar, Quick
Frozen Scallop Adductor Muscle Meat, Fish Sauce and Fresh/Live and
Frozen Abalone; Proposed Draft Code of Practice on the Processing of
Scallop Meat; Revision of the Procedure for the Inclusion of Additional
Species in Standards for Fish and Fishery Products; and amendment to the
Standard for Quick Frozen Fish Sticks (Nitrogen Factors).
