Dear Ahmed
Cestode infection from fish seems to be confined to species of
Diphyllobothrium and most reports are concerned with infection in North
America from eating raw salmon.
I suggest you start with:
Huss, H.H., Ababouch, L., Gram, L. (2003). Assessment and management of
seafood safety and quality. FAO Fisheries Technical Paper. No. 444. Rome,
FAO.
It can be downloaded in pdf format from:
ftp://ftp.fao.org/docrep/fao/006/y4743e/y4743e00.pdf (more than one file)
Other reports, though they mostly just discuss the same information about
Diphyllobothrium in N. America, are:
Adams, A.M., Murrell, K.D., Cross, J.H. (1997). Parasites of fish and risks
to public health. Revue Scientifique et Technique Office Internationale des
Epizooties, 16, 652-660.
Butt, A.A; Aldridge, K.E.; Sanders, C.V. (2004). Infections related to the
ingestion of seafood. Part II: parasitic infections and food safety. The
Lancet Infectious Diseases, 4, 294-300.
Chaia, J-Y.; Murrell, K.D.; Lymbery, A.J. (2005). Fish-borne parasitic
zoonoses: Status and issues. International Journal for Parasitology, 35,
1233-1254
Von Bonsdorff, B. (1977). Diphyllobothriasis in Man. Academic Press, London.
