The Seafood Science and Technology of the Americas (SST) 31st annual
meeting is approaching. The Program agenda has been completed and looks
very impressive. This meeting promises to be an excellent forum to
discuss several of the controversial topics in the seafood arena. We
will have a joint session with the Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries
Institute (GCFI) to discuss the latest information on Caribbean Spiny
Lobsters followed by a hands-on session on sensory evaluation of
lobsters. Then we will have special sessions on Histamine and Species
Identification.
The latest agenda and logistical information could be found at our
website (http://sst.ifas.ufl.edu).
If you are planning to attend but have not booked your hotel room,
better hurry because the number of rooms are limited and are going fast.
Let us know if you need any additional information or run into any
problems booking your hotel in Punta Cana, D.R.
