An exciting opportunity for the world of seafood to network, hear what is
going on, get up dated, assist in influencing decision makers and to make a
difference. Every two years this opening is presented to us by IAFI
co-sponsored by FAO, UNIDO and WHO and on this occasion hosted by BIM, Irish
Food Safety Board and Enterprise Ireland.

Workshops run by international experts in their field cover range of issues
from Access requirements into the main markets of EU, USA/Canada;
Sustainability Standards, Seafood HACCP, Mercury v Health and Traceability
and Logistics. They give all attendees the genuine chance to be involved in
understanding and discussing the issues. They are all half-day events.

As part of the series of workshops offered in advance of the World Seafood
Congress, the International Association of Fish Inspectors presenst a
workshop on Sustainability Standards.

attempt to answer the question, How do we ensure that sustainability
standards:

* are realistic, achievable and affordable;
