Esther,
The European Commission has published 'EU import conditions for seafood
and other fishery products'
and 'Guidance Document - Key questions related to import requirements
and the new rules on food hygiene and official food controls'
ts.pdf), both on DG Sanco's Import Conditions page
(http://europa.eu.int/comm/food/international/trade/index_en.htm). For
importing into the UK, you could check my Imports page here:
http://www.seafish.org/b2b/info.asp?p=119.
I am also interested in up-to-date requirements for importing seafood
into the US, Canada, China, Japan, Russia and South Korea.

Ivan Bartolo

Subject: Import Requirements for frozen longline fish
Dear All,
Does anyone of you know the import requirements (eg. what kind of
documentations needed, what kind of testings (microbiology, heavy
metals, antibiotics) and the minimum or maximum levels allowed for those
testings for frozen longline fish such as Tuna, Swordfish, Sharks, to
certain countries like Canada, EU, USA, Japan, Korea, etc ?
Thanks
-- Best Regards,Esther Chng
