    Dear Everyone in the seafood world,

     

    I am currently doing my MBA in Seafood Management by distance ed, through
    the Australian Maritime College in Tasmania and am supported immensely in my
    research capabilities by a friend who works at the Griffith University at
    the Gold Coast (Queensland Australia)in the library. She has a survey that
    she needs completed, so it would be great if you could spend a couple of

    My work (help desk for Griffith Uni) is currently investigating alternative
    methods of communication and/or promotion. The current methods are phone,
    email and face-to-face. As a member of the general public or as a student at
    any institution, could you please take a moment to answer the following
    questions to help our investigation.

     

    The purpose of this survey is to see what people in general are using so we
    know where to create a presence and can analyse which would be the most
    effective means of communication. We provide help to staff, students and
    visitors all over the world.

     

    1. How do you keep in touch with family and friends? (eg Email,
    Phone, Instant messaging, Blog, Myspace, skype, YouTube, etc.)

     

    2. If you can think of a time when you have needed help from a
    service organisation, how would you have preferred to communicate when
    asking for assistance? (consider a library, a bank, a phone company)

     

     

    3. If you were interested in keeping up with the latest developments
    within a service organisation (events, availability of services, mini
    tutorials, tips, etc). How would you prefer to receive updates?

     

    4. What time of day (or night) are you usually looking for help from
    a service organisation?
