Hi Athif,
Fishbase lists a Protonibea diacanthus - Blackspotted Croaker. There is a
list of the common names used for it here HYPERLINK
"http://www.fishbase.org/comnames/CommonNamesList.cfm?ID=4571&GenusName=Prot
onibea&SpeciesName=diacanthus&StockCode=4756"http://www.fishbase.org/comname
s/CommonNamesList.cfm?ID=4571&GenusName=Protonibea&SpeciesName=diacanthus&St
ockCode=4756, Kooth fish is not listed in the English common names though it
may appear in one of the Asian scripted names.
I searched several possible spellings and came up with a list of
predominantly South Asian fish species which include Kuth HYPERLINK

se.org/ComNames/CommonNameSearchList.php also Kootili/Snubnose
Pompano/Trachinotus blochii, Tappu-cooti/Longtail butterfly ray/Gymnura
poecilura. If you could send a photo someone might be able to identify the
fish.
