Is anyone aware of any studies or reports on alternative feeds for farm
raised salmon. Traditional feeds such as from Cargill are too expensive for 3rd
world salmon farmers. Locally available feeds may result in lower growth rates
and poor feed conversion without a specific reference for a local
    nutritionist.

Also the issue of meat coloration complicated low tech salmon production.
