GRAS for Citrosan

    Dear List,

     

    Does anyone have information regarding Citrosan, a disinfectant used in
    processing plants. I was told this has a GRAS notice issued by the FDA for
    contact with food.

     

    I cannot find this in the FDA database of archived GRAS notices but perhaps
    this is a trade name for another product. If anyone has used this product or
    knows anything about it I would appreciate the information.
