    Got questions? We've got answers

You've heard FDA is re-issuing its Hazards and Controls Guidance. Want
to know how it will impact your current HACCP plan? FDA will discuss the
    changes.

Copious newspaper and media coverage on the nutrition and health issues
surrounding seafood is unrelenting. Can you distinguish media "hype"
from credible science? And how are consumers responding? They read the
paper too. Experts will discuss the facts about benefits and risks,
including the conclusions of the recent National Academy of Science
study, and provide insight into consumer thinking.

You've heard lots about omega-3-fatty acids. Is that the entire seafood
story? The latest omega-3 and nutrition research will be reviewed by
    leading scientists.

When will you be able to label your seafood product as organic? And do
consumers want the organic label? Senior USDA officials will report on
the development of organic seafood standards and researchers will
    discuss consumer attitudes.

What is culinology, and why would a product development specialist need
it? A special session is planned for those exploring product development
    opportunities.

Traceability. Is your business ready for it? Hear the latest from
government officials, including USDA regulators responsible for COOL
labeling, colleagues in the seafood industry and academicians.

You think you know what you are buying from your supplier, but how can
you really insure product authenticity? Private sector and government
    responses will be discussed.

FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition is re-organizing the
Office of Seafood. What's next with this lead Agency in the regulation
of seafood? Hear about it from the CFSAN Director Dr. Robert Brackett.
