Dear Pam and fellow list members,
Very sad news indeed. Never had the opportunity to meet Bob but cannot begin
to describe the
gratitude I have felt over the years for his monumental efforts for the
seafood industry. The compendium, this list, the alliance have all been
indispensable tools in my career. Seafood safety is near and dear to my
heart, and Bob Price probably did more to ensure it than anyone. On several
occasions he took the time to personally answer questions I had. Was always
a surprise, but I guess not to those who knew him.
If a man is known by the company he keeps, Bob Price was a prince. You
Pamela have maintained and nurtured his "children", and carried on his
outstanding work most ably.
I'm sure Bob was very proud of you, and I appreciate his legacy, you and the
list every day.
