    Dear Dave,

You can contact with Nils Kristian Sorensen expert on slautering in Norway. his email: nils-kristian.sorensen@fiskeriforskning.no

We have tried also iki jime for Pangasius in Vietnam (about 1.5 kg only). You can try with anatomie the head of fish try to see where is located the brain of fish. base on that you can see from outside that where you can touch to the brain from outside so that the fish will be knocked insensible then it will be easy for worker to do slautering.

      Good luck

We intend to do a limited production run salmon stunned with the traditional iki jime method this summer and are very interested in speaking with anyone with experience with this method of spike stunning smaller fish (2-6 kg) to learn from their experience.

If anyone on the list has had experience with this process, please feel free to contact me either through the list or directly.

Thank you. This list has proved to be a most interesting resource.
