PACRIM, made up of members of the West Coast states' shellfish
authorities, regional FDA representatives, the industry and the
university/ academic community, will hold their 2006 Annual Meeting in
Ketchikan, Alaska, on April 24-27 at the Cape Fox Hotel.
The focus of the PACRIM conference is shellfish food safety issues.
Planned agenda highlights for April 25th and 26th include presentations
and panels on:
Monitoring phytoplankton to predict HAB bloom events.
Emerging biotoxins of concern - DSP, yessotoxin
Microbial Source Tracking (MST)
Vp Risk Assessment Model, tdh+ monitoring and trends
