The US Food and Drug Administration Office of Food Safety, Defense and
Outreach launched a new bilingual (English and Spanish) food safety web
site for pregnant and new mothers
    (http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~pregnant/pregnant.html).

The new site includes consumer information on methylmercury in fish.
consumption of raw seafood, and buying tips
    (http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~pregnant/safemea.html).

Tips on four simple steps for home food preparation are listed (clean,
separate, cook and chill). Resources are also provided for trainers.
