"The only guidance that the FDA currently has for controlling parasites is
freezing. The freezing processes described in the seafood hazard guide
should be adequate to control nematodes in any species of fish flesh up to
6 inches thick.
There are certainly alternative adequate methods for different
freezing/product scenarios (such as in the flounder paper [see below]),
but we do not have, as of yet, any new generalized recommendations."
