    Hello Amol:

I think that labelling only in the master carton is enough if the master
carton is the sale unit (in Spain called "unidad de venta"). Anyway you can
find the European legislation in the following web:
    http://europa.eu.int/eur-lex/es/index.html.
The European labelling legislation is "Directive 2000/13/EC of the European
Parliament and of the Council of 20 March 2000 on the approximation of the
laws of the Member States relating to the labelling, presentation and
advertising of foodstuffs" (6.5.2000, journal L 109) and its subsequent
modifications. It is a directive so each state of the UE has to transfer it
    to its national legislation.

    Best regards,

    Marta Pagazaurtundua

    Dear friends,

We are exporters of value added seafood product to Europe. We are exporting
bulk pack of 10kg polybag in Master carton.

As this product goes for reprocessing and not to the consumer directly, I
want to know if the printed labels are mandatory to stick on polybags inside
the Master carton. We stick same type of labels on the master carton.

Please let me know if sticking labels both on master carton and polybags is
mandatory. Also, where can I find the related European seafood labelling
    legislations.

Thank you. Have a nice day!

    Best Regards,
    Amol.
