Deadline Extended for Reduced Registration Rates for
Marine and Freshwater Toxins Analysis: 1st Joint Symposium and AOAC Task
Force Meeting
We are still accepting reduced rate conference registrations at 250 euros
(AOAC membership required) through Wednesday, March 2, 2005. We further
extended the deadline due to internet/web site slowdowns this week that made
it impossible for some applicants to access the AOAC web site for online
membership processing.
Please, if you plan to join AOAC (to save money on registration and to have
subgroup online forum access) do this before you register for the
symposium/task force meeting, but do not wait for confirmation of acceptance
of membership from AOAC - Go ahead and register for the symposium/task force
meeting after you complete online membership application. (It takes AOAC a
few days to update their records and confirmation of membership is not done
very quickly). It will be possible for the organizers to see later (from
AOAC records) that the web application was made by March 2nd.
Please Use the Updated Registration Form (Bank Account Name
biotoxins.meeting) this form is found at
http://www.aoac.org/marine_toxins/new_registration.pdf
<http://www.aoac.org/marine_toxins/new_registration.pdf>
Note that this form still includes the old date February 22 as the deadline
- The above changes in deadlines apply (Wednesday, March 2).
If you have joined AOAC earlier, please check that your membership has not
expired. If you are in doubt please send James.Hungerford@fda.gov
<mailto:James.Hungerford@fda.gov> an email and we can check for you.
