doors vs curtains in CPF's

    Dear listers,

    Many thanks for the recommendations given on the use of ozone testing sometime ago.

    I have yet another issue which was brought up by the local Fisheries authorities while auditing our processing plant: we use several contact plate freezers in our operations with some models using doors and some models using curtains ( optional from manufacturer ).

    According to the local authorities, the use of curtains is in violation with FDA and EU regulations and hence is not allowed.

    Can somebody pls comment / confirm on this subject ?
