    Dear list members,

Due to the recent tsunami effect in South East Asian countries, there is tremendous disturbances in the coastal areas. Human corpses have been recovered from shores even 5-7 days after tsunami. Due to this recently I read in the newspaper that there are chances for "Zulican" virus to spread from the fish to human. Following which, public are hesitant to consume fish and the fishermen are not able to sell their produce. Panic exists among public still now.

I require clarifications on the following aspects.

    1. Will there be any problem in consuming the fish caught from the tsunami affected areas?
    2. Is there is virus named 'Zulican'?
    3. What are the other possible health hazards expected by consuming the fish caught from these areas?

    With regards
