FDA issues revised Prior Notice and Registration of Food Facilities Compliance Policy Guides

    Last week the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued its third revision
    to its Compliance Policy Guide for Prior Notice on imported food
    shipments. The revised guidance outlines types of violations that may
    occur, actions to be taken by FDA and Customs and Border Protection
    officials, and situations where enforcement discretion should be utilized.
