    Dear HACCP Mailing List Subscribers,

The Seafood HACCP Mailing List is an open discussion with 872 subscribers
worldwide representing industry (processors, importers, trade
associations, councils, consultants, etc.), academia (extension
specialists, professors, researchers, students), and government (research
    scientists, inspectors, and administrators).

Sometimes original questions will evolve into various threads (tangents).
If you have a new thought, please start a new topic in the message's
"subject:" to help the subscribers follow the train of thoughts on this
    forum.

Some writers may be more expressive while others may appear curt in their
discussions. Writers have been courteous and professional in expressing
themselves on this list. I personally know many of the writers, and while
their style may be a little abrupt...that's the way they are. Though we
might not like what we hear, we're lucky to hear their view!! Everyone
has a right to be heard on this open forum.

Speaking of history, this list has never had a topic (tuna and histamine)
that has generated so much discussion between industry, government and
academia. I encourage everyone to continue with their discussions and new
topics. This forum is for you, the global seafood community.

    With best regards,

    Pamela Tom, Mailing List Owner
