The USDC Seafood Inspection Program’s National Sensory Section
will hold a seafood sensory workshop open to anyone in industry,
November 9 and 10, 2004 in Seattle, Washington. This is immediately
before Pacific Marine Expo (formerly Fish Expo).
Class activities are one-to-one with our internationally
calibrated seafood experts. They emphasize recognized descriptive
language for seafood quality, where the U.S. government cut-off point
for decomposition is, and how to identify “premium quality”. The
program will cover Flounder, Atlantic Salmon and White Shrimp.
Course agenda and registration facts are posted on our website
http://seafood.nmfs.noaa.gov. After reaching the website, please click
on the Training section. Please contact Ms. Christine Lilienthal
(tel: 978-281-9124, fax: 978-281-9134, email:

My apologies for any previous inconvenience,
Carol
