    Hello,

On the official EU site (http://europa.eu.int/eur-lex/nl/index.html) you can
find the attached document about the latest acceptable heavy metals levels
    in
    foodstuff.

    Onderwerp: EU Mercury levels

    Dear List,

Can anyone out thee in HACCP land help me find the EU acceptable mercury
levels in tuna (skipjack, yellowfin, albacore & bluefin), swordfish and
    shark (mako).

As an added request I would apreciate opinions as to the current direction
of the regulatory agencies as well as consumer confidence in current
    regulations regarding this issue.

Thank you kindly in advance for your response.
