Hi Charles,
In case you don't get a reply via this listserv, here's how you and other
international processors can contact the FDA directly with your specific
questions:
E-mail: furls@fda.gov
Phone: 1-800-216-7331 (U.S.) or 301-575-0156 (international calls)
FAX: 301-210-0247
A phone call is the quickest and fastest way to get your answer. I've
waited less than 30 seconds for someone to answer the phone. If
processors wait until December 11, there may be a very long wait on the
phone. The FDA's help desk is staffed 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. Eastern
Time. It takes about 45 minutes or so to complete the on-line
registration. A summary of the information that you need to provide is
at: http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~furls/ffrmsum.html
A list of question and answers related to Food Facilities Registration is
on the web at: http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~furls/ffrmqa.html
