    Aloha list : Quick question. FDA's Registration of Food Facilities (using Form 3537) takes effect on December 12, 2003. Fishing vessels that harvest and transport fish may engage in H & G, G & G and freezing, and these are still exempt from registration (as they are for HACCP plans), but are longline vessels that butcher tuna (and other pelagics) into loins, then immediately blast freeze them at sea exempt from registration (they all have certified HACCP plans and E-U registration numbers) ? This is the particular case for our domestic longline fleet here in French Polynesia.
