    This Report is to inform the Seafood HACCP Discussion Group about a couple of technical Seminars on fish and seafood inspection and quality assurance to be held in Santiago, Chile, from December the 1st to December 5th of 2003.

    The first Seminar is organized by the Panamerican Network on Fish and Seafood Inspection and Qualyty Control from South American and the Caribean Countries (Red Panamericana de Inspección y Control de Calidad de Productos Pesqueros de RLAC) and it is sponsored by SERNAPESCA and INFOPESCA.

    This Seminar will be from the 1st to the 3rd of December and will address on the International fish and seafood Regulations impact to the regional fishery industry.

    The second Seminar is organized by FAO (Fishery Industry Division-FIIU), INFOPESCA and SERNAPESCA.

    This seminar will be from the 3rd to the 5th of December and will address on the Introduction to the Risk Analysis applied to the fishery industry.
