The International Association of Food and Beverage Officials (IAFBO) in
cooperation with the Department of Fishery Products, Kasetsart University
and the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Inter
FoodTech Company, Virginia Seafood Agricultural Research and Extension
Center, and Office of Seafood, U. S. Food and Drug Administration, offer
two AFDO/Seafood Alliance international training courses at Hatyai, Songkla,
Thailand as follow:
1) Sanitation Control Procedures (SCP) for processing fish and fishery
products on January 27, 2004. Registration Fee: 100 US Dollars, which
includes lunch, breaks, manuals, and IAFBO certificate (will be offered
directly after training completion) and AFDO certificate (will be mailed
from USA within 8-10 weeks).
2) HACCP for Fish and Fishery Products on January 28-30, 2004. Registration
Fee: 180 US Dollars, which includes lunch, breaks, manuals, FDA Hazards
Guide, and IAFBO certificate (will be offered directly after training
completion) and AFDO certificate (will be mailed from USA within 8-10
weeks). Practical Training Session (Segment two) will be also available for
people completing the segment one internet course on January 29 afternoon to
January 30 at the rate 140 US Dollars (no manual or FDA Hazards Guide) and
160 US Dollars (with manual and FDA Hazards Guide).
Both courses will be taught by Dr. Robert J. Price (Emeritus Seafood
Specialist, UC Davis and Inter FoodTech Company President), Dr. Michael L.
Jahncke (Virginia Seafood Agricultural Research and Extension Center
Director), Mr. Greg Small (Office of Seafood, U.S. FDA) and Dr. Voranuch
Suvanich (Inter FoodTech Company)
