A call for Abstracts for the 27th Annual Conference of the Seafood Science
and Technology Society has been issued.
The meeting will be held at The Palace Casino Resort in Biloxi,
Mississippi on November 3-6, 2003. Presentations (20 minutes) are invited
on any topic relating to Seafood Science and Technology (harvest
technology, processing and distribution, marketing, and value-added
concepts). A one-page abstract of approximately 250 words that include
the title; name of presenter; university affiliation; city and state;
objectives; methodology; and discussion and results should be submitted by
September 15, 2003. Abstracts should be submitted electronically to Angela
Ruple at angela.ruple@noaa.gov or mailed on a diskette to Angela Ruple at
the address below. Please submit abstracts in a Windows electronic word
processing format, one-inch margins, 12 point, Times New Roman
(preferred).
Registration for the meeting will be $150.00 for Professionals and $75.00
for students. Students are encouraged to make presentations and will
receive a special recognition for their presentations. For additional
