A reminder that attaching files to messages are unacceptable on this
    mailing list due to:

    1. space allocation limits of e-mail inboxes (i.e., Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.)
    2. potential virus attachments
    3. some company servers automatically reject messages with file
       attachments
    4. as list owner I may receive a dozen or more error messages (server
down, inbox full, company rejections, etc.) and my inbox capacity is
limited (especiall when large file attachments are involved)

There are two ways to share files on this mailing list:

    1. announce that you have a file to share (interested subscribers can
request the file directly from you)
    2. e-mail me (pdtom@ucdavis.edu) the file with your posting request.
I will post your attachment on the Seafood Network Information Center
web site (http://seafood.ucdavis.edu) and I will post your message with
a link to the site. So the size of your message will remain small, and
those who want to view your file can link to it.

If you have any questions or suggestions to the above, please feel free to
    contact me: pdtom@ucdavis.edu
