    Dear List,
    I recently received the following photograph from a colleague and we were
    wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with smoked Atlantic
    salmon.

    The blueish marks appeared only after the smoking process and went right
    through the flesh as seen in the second photograph. We would appreciate any
    comments on this.

    It is a single occurrence in a large harvest so not very significant at
    present.
