On page 33 of the 3rd edition of the Fish & Fisheries Products Hazards and Control Guidance, FDA. we find that the snappers Etelis spp. and Pristipomoides spp have ciguatera fish poisoning, and Pristipomoides also has parasites and Histamine poisoning. Does anyone know the references that would have created this listing.
