Hi Liz,
Thank you for sharing this with us. You remind me how
fortunate I am. I get a mild allergic reaction, but nothing else.
Sometimes I feel sorry for myself for no longer being able to enjoy
shrimp and other crustaceans, but your note helps me to put
everything into perspective!
Your note also reminds me of something I read in a medical
journal. A woman's boyfriend ate a seafood meal and then kissed her.
This transferred enough antigen to land her in the emergency room!
