    Dear Robert Stone,
The idea of having hot water hand washing facility is to have the workers use the hot water to get their hands washed instead of skipping the hand washing step because the water is cold. This goes good for those in the "temperate" climate where the temperatures are sub zero and too cold. But in tropics, the hot water hand wash is not necessary and a good detergent wash followed by risk free sanitiser is ideal. The temperature of hot water one can withstand is not going to sanitise the hand or melt the fat or pasteurise your hand any way.
