I haven't heared of white spots in shrims only black spots.
Do you know if the shrims are being treated with a phosphate solution or any
other treatment to prevent dehydratation?. Maybe some additive not
completely dissolved or too concentrated?
I'll check some papers to check if the use of ice during transport could
produce such spots.
