Seafood HACCP/SCP Courses in Thailand

     The Department of Fishery Products at Kasetsart University and Mahidol University International College, Thailand, in conjunction with the University of California, Davis and the Virginia Seafood Agricultural Research and Extension Center will offer two AFDO/Seafood Alliance international training courses at Rama Gardens Hotel Bangkok, Thailand as follow:

    1) Sanitation Control Procedures (SCP) for processing fish and fishery products on January 7, 2003. Registration Fee: 100 US Dollars, which includes lunch, breaks, manual, and AFDO certificate.

    2) HACCP for fish and fishery products on January 8-10, 2003. Registration Fee: 180 US Dollars, which includes lunch, breaks, manual, FDA Hazards Guide, and AFDO certificate. Practical Training Session (Segment two) will be also available for people completing the segment one internet course on January 9 afternoon to January 10 at the rate 140 US Dollars (no manual or FDA Hazards Guide) and 160 US Dollars (with manual and FDA Hazards Guide).

    AFDO will list your name in database after completion of these training courses. Both courses are the same courses as the ones taught in the U.S. for seafood processors and the U.S. regulatory agencies (FDA inspectors and State DHH personnel) and will be taught by certified trainers from AFDO/seafood HACCP Alliance, Dr. Robert J. Price (UC Davis), Dr. Michael L. Jahncke (Virginia Seafood Agricultural Research and Extension Center), Dr. Voranuch Suvanich (MUIC), and Mr. Gregg Small (Office of Seafood, U.S. FDA). Dr. Robert J. Price (UC Davis) is also the editorial committee of Seafood HACCP training curriculum.

    Registration after December 1, 2002 will be 20 % more than the original fees for both courses!

    Special rates at the Rama Gardens Hotel Bangkok for attendees are only available on the registration forms.
