    Hello

I have been using the AOAC acredited Fluorometer method apart from the
HPLC for the EU market when I was the Quality Control Manager for the
Solomon Taiyo Limited company in the Solomon Islands. About 80% of our
product then was exported to the EU and we did not find any difficult
exporting to them based on my histamine analysis and credibility of my
    results.

There are other quick methods that has been developed by NEOGEN Company
based in the USA. One of the method they use is the Verotox method. I
have used it for field analysis in my PhD (Marine Science)field
    analytical work.

I hope I have provided you with valid information.

    Regards
