Ajith,
It sounds like you may be describing the parasite, Pleistophora typicalis.
It ranges in color from yellow to light tan to brown in small pods or
granules as you described them. They can also be present on the fins and
tail of the fish too. Typically they do not affect the texture, but may be
visible after cooking. I do not know the health hazards if consumed live in
raw product, but if cooked or killed be freezing, I believe there are no
health hazards.
