Granules in flat fish fillets

    Hi Dear list members,

     I used to to see lot of granule shaped particle
    embedded in the fillet of certain flat fishes,
    especially that of Psetodus erumi. These granules
    concentration is more towards the tail region. It will
    be really helpful, if some one can tell me what is
    this granule and is there any health hazards in
    consuming such fillets.
