Dear List:
I am not aware of an accurate method in maintaining the net weight of
frozen fish; specially frozen shrimps. There are so many factors to
consider.
In the Philippines, it has been customary( at least with the companies I
worked with) to add 10 % more to the declared net weight. Experience
suggest that with this simple method, the client gets what is declared
as net weight, and not less.
The conflict on the issue of net weight is thus minimized.
